Cherry Abacus is a popular hemp strain that was a cross of OG & Purple Urkle. These feminized seedlings were bred in 2016. Out of over 2 thousand plants, 2 genotypes were selected that contained the highest terpene profile along with the berriest taste. Imagine the strong cherry essence combined with the wild berry smell of the original Abacus. This is a personal favorite for many when it comes to smokable hemp strains. Cherry Abacus is a vertical strain so we recommend planting the feminized hemp seed at approximately 5000-7000 plants per acre.
The Abacus hemp strain is a proven hardy strain that is a cross between an OG x Purple Urkle mother plant and a high CBD varietal industrial hemp father. This plant is very tolerant of both heat and cold, mold, mildew and pests which makes it a great addition to any east coast farm. It is a tall and vigorous grower, reaching 8’ in height with average side growth. Abacus hemp seeds can be seeded to grow row crop or sown spaced out for plants that yield multiple pounds each. This high CBD hemp strain is great for extraction and is used for treating stress, anxiety, nausea, migraines, chronic pain, depression, chemotherapy side effects, and more.
As with all of our strains, The Abacus strains Delta 9 THC levels should be assayed 3 to 5 weeks prior to anticipated harvest to ensure the crops meet the statute for maximum Delta 9 THC levels. Drought and very hot weather may increase the total Delta 9 THC levels in industrial hemp plants.
